Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ITT Cannon, Division of ITT Industries, 666 East Dyer Road, Santa Ana, CA 92705 to provide 81 each receptacle assemblies Fiber Optic Mechanical Connector (FOMC) 12-channel single mode with 25-foot fiber optic pigtail terminated with SC connectors, four (4) each receptacle assemblies FOMC 12-channel single mode with 31.5 foot fiber optic pigtail and two (2) each back-to-back plug assemblies FOMC 12-channel 33 meters for use at USAYPG supporting the Range Digital Transmission System (RDTS). ITT Cannon is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these receptacles which must be compatible with the current ITT Cannon receptacles in use at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Test Support Network (TSN). The receptacles incorporate self-closing dust covers and breakaway features that will enhance longevity at the various gun positions and test locations throughout the USAYPG testing range which will be utilized by both USAYPG and WSMR. The NAICS code is 334417/500. Award of the requirement shall be in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.
