Description

As a result of evaluations conducted on statements of capability submitted in response to the sources sought synopsis for Solicitation No. FA2550-01-R-0006 (Mission Communications Operations & Maintenance MCOM), dtd 27Mar01, it has been jointly determined between the Contracting Officer and the Small Business Administration to conduct this acquisition under conditions of full and open competition, with a minimum small business subcontracting requirement of 25%. Additional information concerning the procurement will be posted to this site as it becomes available. A briefing for industry is planned for 20Jul01 at a location and time yet to be determined. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Other MCOM acquisition events are planned as follows: Issuance of Draft RFP o/a 27Aug01; Issuance of Final RFP oa/29Nov01; Receipt of Proposals 29Jan02; Contract Award o/a28Jun02; Phase In o/a 1Jul02; Basic Contract Start 1Oct02. A 90 day phase in period, basic contract year, and six option years are contemplated.
