- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as = supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This = announcement constitutes the only synopsis. A quotation is being = requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation = number F34612-01-T0054 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The = incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal = Acquisition Circular 97-27.=20 This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns, and is = under NAICS code 33999, which has a small business size standard of = 500. This requirement is for the manufacture and installation of a fall = suspension system to be incorporated into C-5 ISO Wing and Tail Stands. Product must have the option of attaching a safety harness and = lanyard/safety line, in addition to safety rails. Offers will be = evaluated for Price as well as feasibility of design. Detailed = specifications are required and will be considered source selection = material if so marked. Offers must be compliant with AFOSH 91-100 paragraph 8.2.5 and all = other AFOSH requirements, in addition to OSHA Standard 1910.23(C) -- = Guarded Floor and Wall Openings and Holes, and 1910.66 Appendix C -- = Personal Fall Arrest System. A site visit will be conducted on 28 June 2001 at 1330 CST at Altus = AFB, BLDG 318. The final date for submission of offers is two weeks = thereafter, on 12 July 2001. Award is not contingent upon appearance at site visit, however, there = will be only one opportunity available and your success or your failure = to appear will not be grounds for any special consideration when = evaluating your quote.
