Description

This synopsis is FOR INFORMATION ONLY. Proposed contract effort is to modify the development of efficient and accurate methods and models for the probability of damage to hard and deeply buried targets from a variety of inventory and future weapons. Perform sensitivity studies and weaponeer generic and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) test targets. DTRA intends to modify contract number DSWA01-97-C-0202 with Applied Research Associates, Inc.(ARA) based upon its experience and background directly on the existing work. Attempt to use another source would deprive the Government of the capabilities, utility and prior technology developed by ARA. Furthermore, switching to another contractor would result in program delays and cost increases for another contractor to attempt replication of the work thus far accomplished by ARA.
