Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F19650-01-Q-0024 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 339111. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 dated 16 May 2001. The procurement for an Oscillator is to consist of the following: CLIN 0001, 1 EA, Integrated YAG/OPO includes Spectron SL401-10HZ with 170mJ@1064nm pumping OPOC-1060PO; CLIN 0002, 1 EA, Computer control option; CLIN 0003, 1 EA, Power Supply Chiller; CLIN 0004, 1 EA, Additional Set of long mirrors for operation in 1.6um to 3 um region; CLIN 0005, 1 EA, Modification to by-pass OPO for YAG 1064nm output; CLIN 0006, 1 EA, Installation; CLIN 0007, 1 EA, Shipping Charges. FOB Point: Destination. Quotations that do not include prices for all of the CLINs will not be considered. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items, (the specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) is technical, price and past performance); FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); FAR 52.212-4- Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.(in paragraph (b) the following clauses apply; FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52-222-36 and 52.222-37), FAR 52.204-6, Contractor Identification Number- Date Universal Numbering System DUNS Number, FAR 52.223-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and DFARS 252.204-7004, required Contractor Registration (Mar 1998); DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (in paragraph (b) the following clause applies: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program).
