Description
Synopsis Number DAAH01-01-R-0226. Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem (IBAS) Engineering Services requirement. The U. S. Army is contemplating limited competition between Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), McKinney, Texas and DRS Optronics, Palm Bay, Florida. The requirement consists of providing support for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System programs. The engineering services will include program management, logistics support, special technical and engineering support, special test and evaluation related to production, implementation of Government approved and directed changes for software block upgrade, development and maintenance of product assurance and test engineering capability. The engineering services will also provide for Contractor Field Services Representatives (FSR) for field level support and Interim Contractor Support (ICS) for the Target Acquisition Subsystem (TAS) and Missile Control Subsystem (MCS) at the depot level of maintenance. Foreign industry may participate at the subcontractor level in relation to the IBAS prime contractor. Subcontracting opportunities must be arranged between the prime and any potential subcontractors. Foreign industry and/or non-U.S. citizens desiring a copy of the releasable portion of the solicitation must submit an official request through their respective embassy, Washington, D.C. to HQDA, ATTN: DAMI-POC. Foreign-owned, controlled, or influenced (FOCI) entities desiring a copy of the releasable portions of the IBAS Engineering Services Requirement MUST submit an official request to the U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-SI-SD, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898; however release is not guaranteed. Requests from foreign industry and/or FOCI entities received by any other means will not be honored. Release date for this services is October 2001. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
