Description

THIS MODIFIES A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL SERVICES AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION COMPLEX, KEY WEST, FLORIDA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and management, unless otherwise specified, required for mosquito control such as adult surveillance, larval surveillance, larviciding, truck fogging, and aerial spraying. The government intends to issue ONE contract for a Base Year with Four (4)Option Years. The contract will include a Firm Fixed-Priced portion plus Indefinite Quantity Line Items. The solicitation issue date is planned for 11 July 2001; site visit 25 July 2001; proposals due 22 August 2001. The government plans to award based on best value, considering price and technical factors. Technical evaluation factors will be established, including past performance. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation (ESOL) web site, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ for downloading. Hard copies of solicitations will not be mailed out. In order to obtain the solicitation, parties must register on the ES0L web site, and may do so at any time. The successful contractor will be required to accept Government Purchase Card (credit card) orders for services of $2,500 or less. Interested parties may contact the contracting officer by phone or e-mail. Technical questions shall be in writing. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT RESTRICTED.
