Description

Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, = furnishing all labor, material and equipment necessary to convert the = subject building?s constant volume air distribution system to a = variable air volume (VAV) system by replacing the existing mixing boxes = with VAV boxes. Modify the existing ductwork to accommodate the new = VAV boxes. Upgrade the existing Control Solution Incorporated building = energy management system (EMS) to interface with new VAV box controls. = Provide electrical power to the new VAV boxes. Replace any damaged = ceiling tiles and grid or patch any plaster ceilings damaged during the = conversion work. Replace the four (4) rooftop penthouse supply and = return air fan motors with variable frequency drives. Replace the = exhaust air dampers on all rooftop air handling units and install EMS = setback and scheduling software. Upgrade and commission the EMS. The = completion time is 548 calendar days. The NAICS code is 235110 with a = size standard of $11.5 million. The magnitude of this project is = between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. This procurement is open to all = business concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness = Demonstration Program.
