Description

Refuse collection, disposal and recycling services at the U.S. = Coast Guard Facility, Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco, CA. The = successful offeror will provide all labor, materials, equipment, = vehicles, containers and permits necessary for the collection and = disposal of refuse, and recycling within the geographical area of the = Federal installation. The period of performance is planned for 01 = December 2001 through 30 September 2002, with four (4) one year option = periods from 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2006. The = solicitation will be issued on or about 16 July 2001, with a planned = closing date of 19 October 2001. The closing date and start of = performance are subject to change depending on completion of the = required City and County of San Francisco's permitting process, which = may take up to three (3) months to complete, barring an appeal to the = Board of Permit Appeals. In support of this procurement the Director = of Public Health for the City and County of San Francisco, CA will = accept the submission of a complete and timely Federal Facility Refuse = Collection Permit Application from potential offerors from 16 July 2001 = through 27 July 2001. The local environmental agency responsible for = processing the permit application is: Department of Public = Health/Environmental Health, 1390 Market Street, Suite 210, Fox Plaza = Building, San Francisco, California 94102.
