Description

NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for CrMoSi powder, 40 (AT.%)Cr-30(AT.%)Mo-30(AT.%)Si inert gas atomized powder sized for -325 mesh. Particle size distribution shall be -45 microns (98% minimum)/-11 microns (5% maximum). Powder shall be sealed under inert gas or vacuum and supplied in 2 pound metal containers. Quantity shall be 25 pounds. CrMoSiY powder, (39.8 AT.%)Cr-30(AT.%)Mo-30(AT.%)Si-0.2(AT.%)Y inert gas atomized powder sized to -325 mesh. Particle size distribution shall be -45 microns (98% minimum)/-11 microns (5% maximum). The powders shall be sealed under inert gas or vacuum and supplied in 2 pound metal containers. Quantity shall be 25 pounds. Shipment must be accompanied by a Material Safety Data Sheet. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 332812 and 500, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 3-177310 is on or about 6-7-01 with an anticipated quote due date of 6-19-01. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
