Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD, has a requirement for a Video Encoder, quantity: 2 ea. (p/n ME-981, Video Encoder w/981-PCM Interface). These video encoders are replacement units, and must be identical in form, fit and function with the existing equipment. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price contract with Merlin Engineering Works, Inc., 1888 Embarcadero Rd., Palo Alto, CA under authority of FAR 6.301-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. The Government, for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capability statements received in response to this notice. The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the response received.
