Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAHA30-01-Q-0002, a request for quotation for Powdered Sports Drinks, and closes on 21 Jun 01, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-25. This procurement is unrestricted with an assigned NAICS Code of 311999, which signifies a small business size standard of 500 employees. The United States Property & Fiscal Office for New York is soliciting Powdered Sports Drink. Powdered Sports Drink Package will yield 1 quart. Case size will be 144 packages to a Case. 425 cases of each flavor are required. Five (5) different flavors are requested. ORANGE, LEMON-LIME, FRUIT PUNCH, RIPTIDE RUSH (or equal to Gatorade's Riptide Rush) and GLACIER FREEZE (or equal to Gatorade's Glacier Freeze). Request price per package and price per case with details. Prices will be FOB destination. Delivery to: ISB BLDG #1550 Warrior Ave, Alexandria, Louisianna, 71303 ATTN: CW2 Brian Erkson. Delivery CANNOT BE before 26 JUL 01 or after 28 JUL 01. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commerical Items, applies to this acquisition. Each Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications/Commercial Items with its offer. FAR Clause 52.214-4 applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5 to include additional FAR Clause 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37 and 52.232-33 applies to this acquisition. Contractors may access these clauses at www.arnet.gov/far. Central Contractor Registration is mandatory for this acquisition and may be accessed via the internet @ www.ccr2000.com. Faxed Quotations will be accepted @ 518-786-4985. The Contractor is responsible for the accurate and timely transmission if using this means. Quotations in response to this announcement shall be submitted to the United States Property and Fiscal Office for New York, ATTN: MNPF-PC, Room 214, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, New York 12210-2224. All quotations must be received on or before 21 June 2001, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Any quotations received after the 2:00 p.m. deadline will be determined late.
