Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is Request for Quotation No. 01SQ340381 which incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-25. This is unrestricted and all responsible sources will be considered by the Agency. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333911and the size standard is 500 Employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a requirement for spare parts for Georgia Iron Works 10 and 12 inch pump. It is our intention to obtain these spare parts by exchanging parts we currently have in inventory for a Georgia Iron Works 20 inch pump. Under this solicitation, vendors will be required to provide prices on the spare parts for the 10 and 12 inch pump parts and provide an exchange value for the 20 inch pump parts. The following contract line items are for the GIW 10 and 12 inch pump parts required: ITEM 1: (1 ea) GIW 10 X 12LSA32 Type CH/4RV, Right Hand Rotation Complete with 864D 5-7/16" bearing assembly, 850B shaft, labyrinth seal design, all wet end parts constructed of 28G; ITEM 2: (1 ea) GIW Pump Shell, 10LSA32, Type CH, Material 28G; ITEM 3: (1 ea) GIW Impeller 12SA32, 4RV, Plug 4.5R, Material 28G. ITEM 4: (1 ea) GIW Suction Liner 12LSA32, Material 28G. ITEM 5: (1 ea) GIW 12X14LSA36 type CH/3ME, Right Hand Rotation Complete with 854D 5-7/16 bearing assembly, 850B Shaft, labyrinth seal design, all wet end parts constructed of 28G. ITEM 6: (1 ea) GIW Pump assembly, 12LSA36, type CH, Material 28G. ITEM 7: (1 ea) GIW Impeller 14LSA36, 4RV, plug 4.5R, Material 28G. ITEM 8: (1 ea) GIW Suction Liner 14LSA36, Material 28G. The following are GIW 20 inch pump parts Reclamation has on hand for exchange: ITEM 1: (6 EA) GIW Pump Shells 20WBC46, Part No. 6898D-28G, Material 28G; ITEM 2: (3 EA) GIW Impellers, 20WBC46, type 3ME, Part No. 6900D-28G, Plug 6.5, Material 28G; ITEM 3: (2 EA) GIW Suction Liners, 20WBC46, Part # 6897D-28G, Material 28G. Delivery of pump parts shall be delivered to the Yuma Area Office, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, Arizona 85364. The Government will be responsible for all transportation arrangements. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable to this RFQ. Evaluation factors are as follows: Price and Past Performance. Price and Past Performance when evaluated are equally significant Offerors shall submit the following for past performance evaluation (1) list of three references of whom supplies have been provided. Include customer name, contact point and telephone numbers. Award will be made to the responsive responsible offer that provides the lowest technically acceptable offer. Offerors should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to include paragraph 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, and 25.
