Description

This is a modification to a previous pre-solicitation notice, Cite W-087 SN50H567, originally posted 28 March 2001. Solicitation release date has been pushed back to 25 June 2001 with the due date pushed back to 25 July 2001. NSN 1680-01-146-8239, Overheat Fire Detector, manufactured to Whittaker Corp CAGE 25693 P/N 3151-16-500/325-9. The only approved sources are Meggitt Safety Systems Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corp. Any manufacturer other than Meggitt Safety Systems or Northrop Grumman must submit a complete Source Approval Request package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04). No drawings, tech data or sample parts are available. This solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract with one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The estimated annual demand is 216 each for the base period and 96 each for the option periods. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO, ship FOB Origin.
