DHHS SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE AND EXPO July 30, 2001 Natcher Conference Center -- NIH Campus Bethesda, Maryland Three DHHS agencies, AHRQ, HRSA, and SAMHSA, are sponsoring the small business conference and expo of the year. Find out what's in store for small businesses under the Bush Administration. You will hear first hand any policy and program changes that will impact how you do business with the Federal Government. Members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives Small Business Committees, and representatives from the Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration (SBA) have been invited to speak on these matters at the morning and afternoon general sessions. The closing general session will include presentations and handouts on current and future RFPs and RFQs from the three sponsoring agencies. In addition, this conference is designed to provide valuable information to the experienced and inexperienced small business owners and senior executives of the business. Each workshop will address an issue that is basic to the growth, prosperity and/or survival of a small business. There will be workshops on such fundamental topics as: Successfully Transitioning from the 8(a) Program; Win More Government Business by Staying in Compliance; The DCAA and Your Next Audit; The DHHS Pilot Mentoring/Prot g Program; and Development at IRS to Help Small Businesses.
