Description

ANALYTICAL EQUIPMENT, INSTALLATION AND ON SITE INSTRUCTIONS. The U. S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh PA intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source bases to Physical Electronics, Eden Prairie MN to provide the following item which is to be delivered to DOE site in Albany, OR. A PHI Model 1248 X-Ray Generator Subsystem, PHI 1248 Package Installation Option, PHI Model 3057 XPS Subsystem, PHI Model 04-727 Sample Intro Attachment, PHI Valve/Install Kit for the 04-747, Adaptor flange for CMA to SAM-590, Installation and On-Site Instructions. This purchase order is being issued to Physical Electronics, Inc. because other analyzer systems will not interface with existing PHI Equipment, and the PHI Equipment will allow for more complete maintenance and operational issues, present less complicated maintenance and logistical issues. This request is considered to be a sole-source to Physical Electronics, Inc. Therefore, no solicitation shall result from announcement procedure. Any firm believing that they can provide the required equipment may submit a written response clearly showing it's ability to provide the required equipment, which will be considered by this agency.
