Description

The Defense Distribution Center intends to award a sole source purchase order to Webb Technologies Inc., Norfolk, VA. To provide all labor, parts, and material to install an emergency generator at the Ammonia Refrigeration Plant CEP156 located at the Defense Distribution Center Norfolk, Va. to include one 75kW diesel generator total enclose/sound baffling with 100 gallon day tank, one 150 amp 4 pole, automatic transfer switch, one 125 amp, 3 phase, 4 wire 480/277 volt feeder for new panel HV, one 100 amp, 3 phase, 4 wire 480/277 volt panel with breakers to serve one lighting panel LV, excising two roof top exhaust fans, and one 45kva tansformer, one new panel LV with breakers to serve the lighting fixtures in the control room, outlets in the control room and the Frick Refrigeration control cabinet (Mystic Control Panel), intercept one mechanical room lighting circuit and reroute the circuit to the new panel HV, intercept the lighting circuit for the control office and reroute the circuit to the new panel LV, intercept the receptacle circuits for the control office and reroute the circuit to the new panel LV, intercept the two mechanical room ceiling fan circuits and reroute the circuits to the new panel HV, automated transfer switch to be integrated with diesel generator to auto start after a 5 second power interruption and to provide continuous service until power is restored. Furnish and install all electrical wiring and conduit necessary to install the equipment and controls listed. All electrical feeders and branch circuits will be installed in EMT or better. All work is to be accomplished in compliance with applicable NEC. At no time can the integrity of the existing Frick Refrigeration Control Cabinet (Mystic Control Panel) be compromised during this installation. NOTE: ANY Interested PARTIES SHALL SUBMIT THEIR QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITIES (i.e., technical specifications, brochures, and price lists)to the above address and point of contact. Please reference the solicitation number on all correspondence. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No formal solicitation document exists. However, all information received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by this agency. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining wheter to conduct a comptitive procurement.
