Description

NAICS Code-235110 (formerly SIC Code 1711). Contractor to = provide all labor, material, and supervision required to accomplish the = consolidation of 3 smaller chillers w/2 new units in the basement. New = eqpmt. replacement includes 2 chillers, 6 pumps for chilled and = condenser water service, and 2 rooftop cooling towers. Option 1 is a = piping bypass/tie-in of existing rooftop chiller into main bldg. = chilled water system. Option 2 is to provide temporary cooling on = bldg. grounds with a security fence, and includes delivery, setup, = operation, and removal of temporary eqpmt. & utility connections. = Option 3 is for packaging, shipping, reinstalling, inspection & = maintenance, and recommissioning the chiller, to remain Government = property, at another location in Texas. Special working hours apply to = this project. The estimated cost range for this project is between = $250,000 and $750,000 (inclusive of all 3 options). A bid = bond/guarantee is required. This contract will be acquired utilizing = informal source selection procedures with a firm fixed-price award to = the offeror who provides the best value to the Government. This = unrestricted procurement is being made under the Small Business = Competitiveness Demonstration Program; therefore, all responsible firms = are invited to participate.
