Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.5 as supplemented with additional information included by electronic notice. The electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. The Department of Veterans Affairs, White River Jct., VT is seeking the services of a General Diagnostic Radiologist. Work is to be performed at the VA Medical and Regional Office Center, White River Jct., VT, for approximately 3 month period with options for extending this contract beyond that date. The individual selected for this position shall serve as a full time General Diagnostic Radiologist responsible for interpreting plain films, ultrasound, CT and nuclear medicine, and be proficient in fluoroscopy. Individual shall be computer literate and be proficient in keyboard and word processing skills. All personnel providing services under this contract shall speak and write English proficiently. The solicitation number is 405-39-01. This solicitation is issued as an RFP. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. The acquisition is unrestricted. The NAIC code is 621111. Evaluations will be made on availability, qualifications, past performance, price, and small disadvantaged business HUB Zone participation. Offerors are required to submit a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3 -- Offerors Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Item with their offer. No telephone requests will be accepted.
