Description

Natural Resources Conservation Services, Indianapolis Indiana, 46278, Phone 317-290-3200, seeks a contractor to furnish and plant 162 acres of potted trees. The tree planting will be part of a wetland restoration through the Wetland Reserve Program and the Floodplain Easement Program. The planting will occur on 4 tracts of land located in Vermillion and Parke Counties, Indiana. Planting shall be done from September 15 through June 1, as local soil and weather conditions permit. Due to the high possibility of spring flooding, the preferred time is September 15 through November 15. The planting of all potted stock will be completed by Dec 1, 2002. Spraying of planted stock for weed control will be completed by July 1, 2003. The Invitation for Bid will be available on June 15, 2001.
