Description

The contract resulting from this solicitation will support the Navy Personnel Research, Studies, and Technology Department (NPRST)in various manpower and personnel research areas. Research areas may include the design, development, implementation and validation of databases , decision support systems and computer-based information systems for military and civilian manpower, personnel and training (MPT) managers. The resulting contract will support projects to develop new decision support applications as well as projects to integrate current computer-based management tools. Tasks to be accomplished may include: (1)Data collection and analysis, construction of entity-level and aggregated databases , tuning/optimization of databases, and system database documentation; (2) Design and development of statistical, mathematical, and/or econometric models; (3) Design, development, implementation and updating of decision support systems; (4) Development and installation of user-friendly software and databases; (5) Conducting studies to determine the effectiveness of a system. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four one-year option periods. Numbered not 26 applies.
