Description

DESC: This is an annual requirement for bulk fuel (AN8, JP5, and MUM) in the Antarctic region. These requirements may increase during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to SP0600-01-R-0095. Overseas Bulk Fuel Procurement of Turbine Fuel, Aviation Grade, Jet A Arctic (AN8) NSN: 9130-01-373-0208, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 2,600,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k; Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5, NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624T, dated September 18, 1998, quantity 3,600,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k; Midgrade Gasoline, Unleaded (MUM) NSN: 9130-01-272-0993, specification ASTM-D-4814, quantity 2,600,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k. Delivery period for the above items is from December 01, 2001 through December 31, 2001, plus a 30-day carryover period. This solicitation will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about June 27, 2001.
