Description
This is a market survey to identify equipment compliant with the Secure, Mobile Anti-jam, Reliable Tactical Terminal (SMART-T) System Specification A3250772, Revision B, dated 15 Nov 99 (NOFORN). The SMART-T is a multi-channel, tactical, satellite communications terminal that utilizes the Milstar satellite constellation and other Extremely High Frequency satellites compliant with MIL-STD-1582 (SECRET NOFORN) and MIL-STD-188-136 (SECRET NOFORN). Interested sources should identify specific equipment models that are equivalent to the SMART-T and that can currently meet the requirements of the SMART-T. The equipment must be available for immediate procurement and not require any additional development or qualification testing. The Government has in its possession Milstar and related specifications which are classified SECRET NOFORN and will only be made available for viewing by authorized DoD contractors with the required security clearance in accordance with the Milstar Security Classification Guide, Raytheon Company, Marlborough, MA, is the current manufacturer of the SMART-T. The Government does not possess sufficient data (drawings) to procure these items from other than the current source.
