Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. Unrestricted. Contractor shall fabricate and install two (2) 16' long X 15' tall X 4' wide steel weir structures. The weir locations are well away from paved roads. Access will be dirt roadways on top of dredge disposal area earth dikes that are accessible by tractor-trailer rigs. After the contractor has finished all fabrication and all painting of the weir structures, the contractor shall deliver the structures to the job site loc ation at Mud Lake 6 adjacent to the old ALCOA settlement ponds on the east side of Mobile River near Cochrane Bridge. The contractor shall perform all welding necessary to create the eight (8) separate pipe runs and connections of the pipe runs to the new weir boxes. The contractor shall also furnish and install 1320 linear feet of 30-inch (outside diameter) steel pipe to be used as drain pipes for the two (2) weir structures. Contractor shall have the pipe delivered to the Mud Lake 6 site and furnish the necessary lifting equipment to off-load the pipe.
