Description

VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Beckman Coulter, Inc., 250 S. Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92821-6290, for reagents and supplies to be utilized with the Appraise Data Network/Paragon and Array analyzers for the period October 1, 2001 through September 31, 2002. Sole source procedure is authorized by FAR 6.302. Negotiations to begin on or about July 13, 2001. Applicable NAICS code is 325413. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 706-731-7172. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
