Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for a contractor to provide and install emergency diesel generators at its Test and Evaluation Facility and Center Hill Facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Anticipated sizes of the two generators are 300kw and 150kw, respectively. Each generator shall have all accessories required for proper operation, including but not limited to weather enclosure, 24-hour oil supply in the diesel base, silencer, crankcase heater, batteries, annunciator panel, and automatic start/automatic transfer. In addition to price, the Government's evaluation of proposals will address each offeror's record of past performance. Price and past performance shall be approximately equal in importance for purposes of proposal evaluation. The estimated price range is under $175,000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents. Solicitation issuance is projected for mid-July. Plans and specifications will be available for inspection without charge at the USEPA Contracts Management Division's office in Norwood, Ohio.
