Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This is a small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 115310. Small Business size standard is $5 million. Furnish all equipment, labor, materials, transportation, supervision and incidentals necessary to perform roadside brushing and/or mowing on the Superior National Forest. Work is to commence on approximately July 1, 2001, and the contractor has 92 days in which to complete the work. FAR Provision 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 and any addendums applies to this acquisition. Evaluation criteria are as follows and are listed in descending order of importance: 1) Technical Approach (proposed project schedule). Provide a project schedule showing production capability i.e. average miles per day completed for brushing and/or mowing; 2) Equipment to be utilized to complete the project; 3) Past performance. List (at least three) current or recent contracts that provided similar services on a similar scope and size. Quoters are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with it's offer. FAR Provision 52.212-4 and any addendums applies to this acquisition. Any additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions determined by the contracting officer that are necessary for this acquisition are consistent with customary commercial practices.
