Description

GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort to provide information technology FDFMerge 3.0 for Windows NT software license and maintenance support for use by HQ AMC/SC; Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225. FDFMerge combines FDF (Forms Data Format) data with a PDF (Portable Document Format). Requirement is for each of the following items and quantities: (1) FDFMerge 3.0 for Windows NT Software, 15 copies; and (2) One Year Support/Maintenance Package. Use of Appligent, Inc. (formerly Digital Applications), is being considered to satisfy the Government's requirements. No other service provider is known to be capable of providing comparable software and support to meet the service requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TC5701C175. NAICS Code 511210, Computer Software Publishers, packaged, applies. Size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is to provide the software licenses and maintenance identified. Period of performance is through September 2002. FAR 52.252-2 applies to this acquisition.
