Description

The Clinical Trials Cluster of the National Institute of = Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), National Institutes of = Health, has a requirement for a contractor to serve as the Center for = Clinical Trial Resources. The overall purpose of the Center will be to = provide support for the management, tracking, and oversight of clinical = trials sponsored by the Institute. This NINDS has identified five = specific performance areas: 1) Monitor quality assurance in clinical = trials, 2) Perform clinical project tracking, 3) Support NINDS staff?s = development of a classification system of research projects, 4) Provide = statistical and methodological support, and 5) Provide clinical data = acquisition and archiving services. The NINDS currently has 46 were = clinical trials, pilot clinical trials, or planning grants for phase 3 = clinical trials. The Contractor must be able to attend meetings at the = NINDS in Rockville, Maryland within 24 hours notice and be available to = meet in Rockville up to 10 hours per week. This requirement is a 100% = Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification = System (NAICS) Code is 541990. Proposals will be due on or about = August 10, 2001. The exact proposal due date will be specified in the = solicitation. It is anticipated that one cost-plus-award-fee contract = may be made for a period of five years beginning on or about January = 25, 2002. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP).
