Description

This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER QUANTITY REQUIRED 100 EACH 0.1 MICRON METAMORPHIC (INP ON GAAS) HIGH ELECTRON MOBILITY TRANSISTOR LOW NOISE AMPLIFIERS FOR 18.8 TO 19.3 HZ OPERATION. THE NOMINAL CHIP DIMENSIONS ARE 2.798 X 1.485 MM. BIAS LINES ARE CONNECTED BY AIR BRIDGES. THE PERFORMANCE "GOAL" IS 300 K NOISE FIGURE OF 1.1 DB MANUFACTURER: GLOBAL COMMUNICATION SEMICONDUCTORS The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-24. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334290 AND 750, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the item from global communicatiions semiconductors, Inc. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE. The High Electron Mobility Transistor Low Noise Amplifiers are replacement parts for the amplifiers used in a direct data distribution receiver. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
