Description

The work consists of furnishing all necessary equipment, material and personnel to construct approximately 26,607 square yards of bituminous asphalt pavement base and top surface course (making a 2.5 inch full depth paving) and striping 4.8 center lane miles of road. This project is located within Rocky Mountain National Park on the Fall River Road portion of Highway 34, 3.4 miles west of Estes Park, Colorado (Larimer County). Asphalt will be applied/laid upon a previously pulverized/reclaimed asphalt base. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation documents will be available on June 12 with bid opening on July 12. Performance period will be 15 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is solicited under full and open competition. Award will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act. NAICS code 234110. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
