- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. N5510010332 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Order for Commercial Items, using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 54137; the size standard is $ 4.0 million. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The solicitation items are as follows: The work of this project shall consist of providing all labor, supplies, materials and equipment for two fiber optic map displays including story outline/board all blueline construction drawings, all necessary fiber optic equipment, all necessary audio equipment except speakers. Original equipment speakers will be used if they will support new equipment. Recording of script (park will assist with suggestions for possible artist), enclosure, glass or plexiglass cover for battlefield and will house approximately 120 handmade trees (a sample will be forwarded to the park for approval prior to implementation). LED readout to make maps fully handicapped accessible. All costs for installation will be included in the price. The contractor must warrant all part and labor for a period of (2) years from the date of acceptance. The contractor must replace without cost to the government any part of the fiber optic mapping system that fails due to manufacturing or material defects during the warranty period. All costs of shipping will be at the contractor's expense. F.O.B. Point: Destination-Cowpens National Battlefield; 4001 Chesnee Highway; Chesnee, South Carolina 29323. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Past performance, 2. Technical evaluation and 3. Price. IAW FAR 52.212-02 Technical and past performance, when combined, are approximately equal when compared to price. Vendors wishing to respond to this RFP should provide this office with the following: A price quote on company letterhead for the requested items showing unit price, delivery time after receipt of order, payment terms, correct remittance address; and a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. This form may be requested from the Contracting Officer by FAX or email. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
