Description

The proposed procurement action is for the onsite hardware and commercial software associated with the previous 12-month prototype of the "Lighthouse Geospatial Data Gateway System" (http://lighthouse.nrcs.usda.gov/lighthouse) for which the Government intends to purchase. The GIS map and data delivery computer system is comprised of one eight-processor (Zeon550mhz, 2Mb L2 cache, 2GB RAM, 4-18.2BG Ultra2 pluggable hard drive) Windows 2000 GIS application server, one four-processor(Zeon550mhz, 1MB L2 cache, 4GB RAM, 4-18.2BG Ultra2 pluggable hard drives) SQL2000 Database server, one-four processor (Zeon600mhz, 512K RAM, 4-9.6GB Ultra2 pluggable hard drives) GIS web and map server, and one-processor (Zeon550mhz,256K RAM, 1-9.6GB Ultra2 pluggable hard drives) DNS server, a fully redundant configuration of 1.74TB of UltraSCSI storage connected to a 16-port Fibre Channel switch and RAID controllers, 26slot DLT tape Library w/Fibre channel controller, all above mounted in two -- 19' rack.
