Description

Reguest For Proposal(RFP). These services require contractor to perform maintenance and repair services for the Steam Distribution Complex operated by GSA, Heating Operation & Transmission District(HOTD). These services consist of maintaining and repairing steam tunnels and building support functions. Services are expected to begin on or about 10/1/2001 for a base period of one (1) year with the government having the option to extend services for four (4) consecutive periods of one year each. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 6/10/2001 with the proposals due by 7/10/2001. Performance and payment bonds will be required. The estimated cost for these services is between $1,500,00 and $3,500,000 for the base year with required pricing for the (4) optional years. The (RFP) may be obtained through electronic data interchange. No paper copies will be provided. Registration instructions are available on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov. Prospective bidders are required to self register their firm or office on the Internet to receive this solicitation.
