SUBJECT: SURGICAL LOUPES FOR DENTAL CLINICIANS, POC CONTRACT SPECIALIST: MANUEL TARIN (210)221-4916 CONTRACTING OFFICER: RAINEYE HOLMES (210)221-3716 (SITE CODE DADA10) DESCRIPTION: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This is a Request for information (RFI) from potential sources capable of providing surgical loupes for dental clinicians. The purpose of this RFI is to give each company an opportunity to display and demonstrate its product line of surgical loupes. The demonstrations will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2001 at the Academy of Health Sciences (Blesse Auditorium), 3151 Scott Road, Building 2841, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234-6134. Please note that MEDCOM Contracting Center (MCC) does not have a requirement for surgical loupes at this time. The dental officers attending this demonstration will not have the authority to purchase, or otherwise obligate the Government in the purchasing of loupes.
