Description

This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, however, A copy of the SF1449 can be down loaded from the NECO Site at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is N00244-01-T-0766. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following: two (2) each abrasive blast facilities (turnkey). Contractor to supply all labor, materials and equipment to provide a turn-key abrasive blast facility consisting of two abrasive blast booth systems. Abrasive blast booth system is to provide an operational facility which has an emission control system designed to collect the dust from blasting components/equipment containing toxic and non-toxic materials. System must be guaranteed to meet or exceed the current requirements of San Diego's Air Quality standards for abrasive blasting operations to remove protective coating from components/equipment. The work scope will also include all labor, equipment and materials to provide an enclosure, all electrical equipment, and distribution for the blasting equipment, the blast room, dry exhaust equipment and total installation of all the equipment. To be determined technically acceptable the Offeror must furnish product literature that demonstrates the products offered meet all requirements stated in the above purchase descriptions for Line Items 0001-0005. All responsible Offerors are to submit current pricing, delivery time, payment terms, cage code, Dunn and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification Number and all applicable specifications regarding this solicitation. Also required are copies of applicable commercially published price lists pertaining to your company's products that meet the specifications.
