Description

This project is a Request for Quotes for the first phase of a water channel reconstruction on the Bighorn National Forest, Sheridan county, Wyoming. This project will consist of two separate phases (I andII) with each phase requiring it's own contract. This solicitation covers Phase I (Design and Supervise) and involves conducting a field survey followed by a restoration design that will quantify the amount and types of material necessary to complete the channel reconstruction. This project will include approximately 0.65 miles (3,432 feet) of the South Tongue River in the immediate vicinity of the Dead Swede campground. This phase will also include the time necessary to supervise the Phase II construction which will be a separate solicitation to be initiated at a later time. The project site is located in the South Tongue watershed at the Dead Swede campground, S34, T55N, R88W, Sheridan county, Wyoming. This site can be accessed by exiting Highway 14 approximately six (6) miles south of Burgess Junction at Forest Road 26 and proceeding approximately four (4) miles to the Dead Swede campground. The proposed contract performance period is 45 calendar days. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
