Description

The US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) has a requirement for hospital housekeeping services at Fort Gordon, GA; Fort McPherson, GA; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Jackson, SC; and Redstone Arsenal, AL. The contractor will be required to provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide these services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA and MEDCOM standards and regulations. The contract period will be from December 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with four one-year options through September 30, 2006. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 561720. The FSC code is S299. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competitive procedures. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 20, 2001. Proposals will be due on or about August 6, 2001. A pre-proposal conference will be held, the date, time and location of which will be announced at a later time. Interested offerors should request a copy of the solicitation in writing on company letterhead with point of contact and telephone number from MEDCOM Contracting Center, ATTN MCAA-C-SS (Craig Stark), Bldg 4197, 2107 17th Street, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. Telephone requests will not be accepted. There will be a $25.00 charge for each solicitation request. Checks should be made out to The US Treasury and submitted with your request. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the government.
