Description

Reference the sources sought synopsis issued on January 9, 2001 and modified on January 10, 2001 and May 18, 2001 for the performance of the Checkout, Assembly and Payload Processing Services (CAPPS), formerly known as the Payload Ground Operations Contract, at Kennedy Space Center. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) has been posted on the CAPPS website at http://www.ksc.nasa.gov/procurement/pgoc for review and comments. Paragraph 1.0 of the SOW provides the general scope and a high level overview of contract requirements for the CAPPS contract. Detailed requirements are specified within the body of the SOW. To provide additional explanation of specific requirements, some language is provided in italics. This italicized language is provided as guidance and is included for explanatory purposes only. The italicized language will not be included in the final SOW. The draft SOW includes references to Data Requirement Deliverables (DRDs) that will be provided in a later posting to the CAPPS website. The posting of the DRDs will be announced on the NAIS. Questions or comments regarding this draft SOW shall be submitted in writing to Ms. Sherry L. Gasaway, Contracting Officer, at NASA/John F.
