Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS). Division of Program Development (DPD), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to the National Education Association Health Information Network, Washington, D.C. The contractor is uniquely positioned to have a tremendous impact on the health and welfare of teachers. The contractor shall provide resources which will assist the CMHS School Violence Prevention Initiative with coordinating families, schools, and communities into a partnership to promote the development of healthy behaviors, competence and resilience. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
