- Description
- The Government intends to establish a contract for the test, evaluation and repair of SM-860A IRTS. The work shall be accomplished IAW Statement of Objective (SOO), TRD, Apendix B and SSJ. Test and evaluation and repair of SM-860A IR Target Simulator. Part Number, 3647132-120. Test and Evaluation to be done 90 days after receipt of Rep End Item. Repair to be done 60 days ARO. The listed vendor is the only known source that can satisfy the Government's requirement for this repair within the time alloted. Quantity 5 each. Vendor, DBA Systems Division, 1200 S. Woody Burke Road, PO Box 550, Melbourne, FL 32902-0550. The approximate issue/response date will be 08 JUN 2001. The anticipated award date will be 28 JUN 2001. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
