Description

The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center intends to solicit Bruker Daltonics, Incorporated, 15 Fortune Drive, Manning Park, Billerica, Massachusetts to acquire 49 Chemical Biological Mass Spectrometer (CBMS) Systems to include spare and repair parts. The effort will support the SBCCOM Biological Integrated Detection System (BIDS) program. Bruker is the only source that can produce and deliver these CBMSs and related items without substantial duplication of costs to the Government and without unacceptable delays. This will be a firm-fixed price contract over a two (2) year period under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) (FAR Part 6.302-1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD13-01-R-0017 and will close 6 July 2001. ****See note 22****
