Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, has a current FY requirement for a Sensor Optical Test System II (SOTS-II). This system shall be used to perform a multitude of tests on various optical, laser and infrared sensors. While the system is currently envisioned as a single collimator system, a modular or multiple collimator approach is acceptable. If such a system is proposed, emphasis should be placed on commonality of hardware and software as well as compactness. Requirement includes development, delivery, and installation of the system a well as operator training. An option to add Laser Beam Analyzer capabilities is also included as well as targets. The system will be FOB Destination. A FFP contract is contemplated based on best value criteria. The solicitation will be issued on a competitive basis on or about 25 June 2001 and close on or about 25 July 2001. NAICS Code 333314.
