Description

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to Robbins Scientific Equipment, Sunnyvale, CA, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) -- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for 1028-00-1 Tango Liquid Handling System (1 ea); 1028-15-1 Tango Wash Station (1 ea); 1028-15-9 Installation & Training (1 fee); and 1028-13-0 Tango 96 head, 290 ul syringes with duraflex needles. This is a 96 well liquid-handling system capable of the following: 1) pipet liquid with range of 0.5-290uL with single head, 2) CV's of 3% or less, 3) Fixed syringes that are flexible and crush resistant, 4) Pipetting heads can be easily exchanged, 5) Hydrophobic coating syringes, 6) X-Y stage with minimum of 11 plate locations, 7) Water bath capable of delivering 2 different solutions, 8) Ease to use icon/wizard driven software, and 8) Software with different levels of permissions for users. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 2 days of closing date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 2 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with the Robbins Scientific. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500EM. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See Note 1.*****
