Description

Solicitation Notice F11623-01-R-0018 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Security Fence Systems Maintenance Support for Scott AFB, IL. This synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7382 and the Small Business Size Standard is $9M. The solicitation can be downloaded at http://www.eps.gov. The period of Performance is 22 Jun 01 to 21 Jun 01 (or for 12 consecutive months from the date of award, whichever is later)through 21 Jun 01 for the basic year. In addition the Government reserves the right to exercise up to four additional one-year option periods. Work descriptions and specifications are located in the Statement of Work. All work will be performed at Scott AFB, IL. The Government will award a fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror that is most advantageous to the Government. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: (1) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; (2) 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and (3) 52.212-5,Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. All responsible sources who are certified by Delta Scientific Corp., may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offers are required to complete and submit the representations and certifications located in FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. (CDT).
