Description

Single award term contract for period July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 for the Defense Automated Printing Service. Production area assumed to be within the Los Angeles, CA commercial zone. Production of text matter, films, and drawings. Approximately 8 orders per year. Orders may be placed with one or more types of products on each order consisting of any or all of the following: Duplicating/Copying, Color Copying, Diazo, Sepia, Vellum, Bond Printing, Films, and One-Half Size Drawings. For Duplicating/Copying -- Approximately 2 to 1,252 pages per order, and occasionally with fold-ins, with an average of 190 pages per order and with an average of 3 fold-ins for orders requiring fold-ins. Approxiamtely 1 to 50 copies per order, with an average of 15 copies per order. Trim size for text is up to and including 17 x 11". Foldins are 17 x 11" or 22 x 11". For Diazo, Sepia, Vellum, Bond Printing, Mylars, Films, One-Half Size Drawings, and Photographic Cronoflex or fixed line: Approximately 1 to 160 originals per order. Approximately 1 to 200 prints per order. Trim sizes are Diazo, sepia, vellum, bond printing, mylars, films, one-half size drawings, and photographic cronoflex or fixed line, up to and including 42 x 110". Diazo, sepia, bond and vellum prints, will average approximately 6 square feet per print. Mylars will average approximately 7 square feet. Films will average approximately 4 square feet. photographic cronoflex will average approximately 7 square feet per print. One half size drawings 21 x 14-1/2", the image area in the 14-1/2" dimension will mostly be 13-1/2", the image on the 21" dimension will vary. Operations include copy pickup, camera work, duplicating/copying, color copying, diazo sepia, vellum and bond printing, blowback operations, photographic cronoflex prints, binding, packing, labeling and marking, and distribution. One to 12 day production schedule. Product Quality Level IV attributes. requirements for bidding are available by request via email or mail on your firms letterhead.
