Description

The U.S. Census Bureau has a requirement and intends to negotiate with F.W. Dodge, a Division of McGraw Hill Companies, on an other than full and open competition basis for continued services of a monthly electronic file which contains all construction projects in the contracts award or start stage for the United States. This file should provide detailed information for each uniquely identified project including but not limited to: 1) Description with detailed type of construction code; 2) Location; 3) Valuation; 4) Ownership designation (private, state, local or federal); 5) type of project (new, addition, or alteration); 6) Square feet of floor space; 7) Owner's name, address, and telephone number; 8) Name, address, and telephone number of other project officials (architect, contractor, engineer, etc.). This information is required by the fifth (5th) work day of each month following the contract award date or start month. Interested firms having the ability to furnish these services of the above described requirements should submit their capability and product information to the above address to the attention of Beth Brooks within 45 days of this notice and reference. In addition to the capability and production information, interested firms should quantify the extent of their coverage of all construction projects in the United States with the submission of evaluation studies or summary statistics. No telephone requests will be honored. See Note 22.
