Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical center, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201, is soliciting for CELLULAR TELEPHONES services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 513322 is applicable. This procurement is for full and open competition, to provide comprehensive Cellular Telephone service, with full coverage to continental U.S.A., within Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The contract resulting from this procurement will have a duration of one base period, and four (4) additional option years, and will be awarded to the to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation requirements, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors shall submit all technical questions regarding this solicitation to the Contracting Officer, in writing, no later than 20 days after issuance of this Request for Proposal (RFP). Questions may be sent via facsimile. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to written questions, which may affect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Requests for the solicitation package must be in writing (letter), or via facsimile to (787) 641-8364, or via e-mail to rene.esteves@med.va.gov. RFP solicitation packages are currently available, and are due on June the 30th 2001, by or before 03:00PM eastern time. RFP solicitation packages shall not be faxed to requestors.
