Description

This is a modification to a combined synopsis/solicitation, Submission Number 50L179. The solicitation number is N68335-01-Q-0289. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, nomenclature Magnesium Peroxide Powder, Brand Name or Equal Oxygen Release Compound (ORC) , manufacturer Regenesis Bioremediation Products, quantity 14,850 pounds. For CLIN 0001, the following information is hereby added: The material/slurry will be injected through a 1 inch diameter Geoprobe (bore holes). Contamination is hydraulically contained through recovery wells downgradient. The six-month minimum release condition was chosen to compensate for site-specific oxygen reducing conditions, allowing sufficient time to encourage bioremediation. TPH concentration in groundwater ranges from 100 to 30,000 ppm. The required delivery date for CLIN0001 is changed from 01 June 2001 to 06 June 2001. Also, the Government will consider partial delivery which meets the following conditions: 25% minimum due by 6 June 2001, next 25% due by 18 June 2001, next 25% due by 25 June 2001 and last 25% due by 02 July 2001. The clauses listed as "52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items" and "52.214-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Feb 2001)" are corrected to read "52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items" and "52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Feb 2001)" respectively.
