Description

Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Bemco Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis, for services to fabricate and install liquid nitrogen (LN2) to air chiller, LN2 level control, LN2 controller and LN2 control solenoids. Supply air at temperatures from 0-40 degrees C via LN2 solenoid, heat bucking system and a three ring air distribution system at the earth shrod of the NRL IR Range. Plumb separate lines to sample elevator area and IR camera area of range with operator controllable solenoid valves. Fabricate and install an LN2-to-Freon 22 heat exchanger. System must be able to control zone temperature from -50 degree C to + 30 degree C at 14 GPM with Freon 22. Sole source is based on equipment and design being proprietary to Bemco Inc.
